“What's on today”, a list of meetings
The bot answers with a fact from your calendar rather than with something the model remembers.
What the scenario looks like
- Execute + Data
- Data
- LLM
The simplest useful question to ask a bot is about today. It is also the most revealing: a model cannot know your schedule, so the answer either comes from the calendar or is invented.
What is inside
- “What’s on today” — the entry.
- Calendar — the connection node.
- Today’s meetings queries events within a day-long window.
- The answer — a model that only lists what was found.
- The list of meetings — the exit.
The window boundaries are mandatory: without them the calendar returns everything it has.
Today’s date comes from the platform — {{ nodes.entry.data.triggered_at }} — not from the
model.
What to set up for yourself
- The calendar address on the query node: replace
REPLACE_MEwith your own. There may be several, and the work one is usually not the personal one. - The window. Currently a day. “What’s on this week” is the same thing with different boundaries.
- The answer prompt. It is deliberately dull: list, do not advise. Advice from a bot about your own schedule is almost always beside the point.
What to connect
A calendar over CalDAV: server address, login and app password in the connection settings. CalDAV is supported by Nextcloud, Fastmail, Yandex Calendar and a dozen others; Google has its own protocol and will not work here.
