Cookie Policy

This is a translation. The Russian version at
/legal/cookiesis the one in force; where the two differ, the Russian text prevails.
A cookie is a small piece of data a site stores in your browser. Iterna’s sites also use local
browser storage (localStorage), which plays a similar role; everything below applies to it
as well.
1. Which cookies are used
Strictly necessary — without them the site and the Service do not work. They keep the chosen interface language, keep you signed in, hold unsaved scenario edits, and record that the cookie notice has already been shown.
Analytical — visit statistics: which pages are opened and which links lead into the application. These are set by Yandex.Metrica from the start of your visit. The legal ground is the Operator’s legitimate interest (cl. 7 pt. 1 art. 6 of Federal Law 152-FZ); the Operator is the party identified in section 1 of the Personal Data Processing Policy. Session recording (Webvisor) is switched off.
The analytics counter is enabled by deployment configuration: on an installation where it is not configured, no third-party script loads and no notice is shown.
2. The chat page on a customer’s site
On the public chat page and in the embedded widget — that is, where our customer’s customer addresses a scenario — Iterna’s counters are not installed and no notice is shown. The owner of the site hosting the widget is responsible for their own cookies and their own notice.
The widget itself stores the conversation identifier and whether the chat window is open in the visitor’s browser: without them the conversation would start over on every page transition. These are strictly necessary data and are not used for analytics.
3. The chat on Iterna’s own site
The pages of the Iterna site itself carry our own chat assistant. It answers questions about the Service and stores, in the visitor’s browser, a conversation identifier and whether the chat panel is open — so that a conversation is not restarted on every page. These are strictly necessary: without them the assistant does not work. The text of a question and of the answer is stored by the Operator; identifiers recognised in a question are de-identified before the request is sent to the model provider. Do not tell the assistant anything that is not meant to reach third parties.
4. How to refuse
Cookies can be refused, and deleted, in your browser or device settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones means the interface language and your sign-in will stop being remembered.
5. Relationship to personal-data processing
The identifiers in analytical cookies can, in some circumstances, single out a user, so we treat them as personal data. Their scope, purposes and legal grounds are set out in the Personal Data Processing Policy.
6. Changes to this Policy
The version in force is published at /legal/cookies; its date is shown at the top of the
document.
